Well I guess ol' boy wasn't amused. He parked the equipment on his patch of grass today. Feel so used.

Got the tractor out to move some wood scraps to the burn pile from the old rabbit hutches- damn happy to see them go, too! It was so nice out though that the mower engaged and knocked out several acres. I'm determined not to spend the entire weekend working and it was way too pretty out to not keep going and enjoy it!

Happy Wednesday!

Funniest thing- went to get air pressure checked in Jeep tires as they were low and it was doing more road dancing than I care for. So technically guy fills um up, and starts to walk around the front when he stopped dead in his tracks and just fell out laughing. I asked if everything was ok and he said "ma'am, I have seen a lot come in the shop, but Ive never seen 2 eggs resting on a w***h come in before- this is a first!"

🤣🤣🤣

More cutting and edging, moved a ton of debris to a burn pile, pulled up ground cloth and got several 4x4 posts from an old pen pulled up. Have to go earn money for diesel at work tomorrow but back at it Saturday morning. Push mower wont be repaired for a couple weeks so about to become even better friends with the w**d eaters. When I said I was working on toning up, I didn't think it would be from getting my ass kicked by a Kubota! It's looking so good though- I am proud!

Today I cut another 5 acres, moved some logs, filled some holes. Getting pretty good at field repairs, using the bucket to get unstuck and finding projects to do so I don't have to put her up! So far, its still fun and not work- hoping it stays that way. Tomorrow is more of the same but will try out my fork attachment, too 😍

If you don't have a rooster loose in your house before 9:00 AM, are you really even trying to homestead?

This forecast looks a whole lot like the top is coming off the Jeep, front panels bare minimum.

Got some work in today. Filled washouts (finally!!!) and started filling holes in the backyard. Its like a roller coaster out there (don't aak 🤦‍♀️) so attempting to smooth it out some so I can mow without fear of whiplash. Little by little, progress everyday. 🙂
