It's Fee Free Day in the National Park Service!

If you're celebrating Memorial Day in the Smokies, that means that you don't need a parking tag! You can head straight to the trail or picnic area without buying a daily parking pass.

The rest of the year, revenue from parking tags fund essential services in the Smokies, including search and rescue operations, road improvements, facility maintenance and more.
