All the summer calendars have now been updated on Magical Resort Guide! These calendars will be in effect for the entirety of Cool Kids' Summer, which is May 26 through September 8.

Not a whole lot of new activities outside of the Cool Kids' Summer stuff, but there are lots of good movies scheduled for Movies Under the Stars, and some new things that I'll detail in a blog post soon. Thanks for your patience while I worked to get these calendars posted, and happy planning!

Hey everybody! I'm here in WDW collecting all the new resort activity calendars that go into effect today, but I know so many of you are anxious to see the Cool Kids' Summer activities especially! So I thought I'd do a quick post with updates for those Cool Kids' Summer resorts - Pop, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, and Port Orleans Riverside.

For some reason, Disney didn't use the same calendar format for these 4 resorts this month. It's posted on Disney's website in one long jpg, so I've edited it into a one-page calendar to show those activities in an easy-to-read format. I went ahead and got those 4 resorts posted on MRG first, so those calendars are available now on each resort's page (link in bio).

Those 4 Cool Kids' Summer resorts are confirmed to feature daily Disney Character Greetings twice a day throughout the summer, yay! The characters that appear will vary, but I saw Mickey, Minnie, and Donald at Pop this morning 😁

I'll do a more detailed post all about the Cool Kids' Summer activities and features at the resorts when I have a chance later - just wanted to get this quick update out in case anyone was looking for this info. Have a great day!

Here's an update on all things Easter at Disney resorts:

🐣 Every resort will have Easter activities happening on Sunday! It's usually an egg hunt or a candy scramble, but either way there will be plenty of free candy for the kids. Check your resort's lobby for the posted Easter activity calendar, or check the Magical Resort Guide website (I will try to get them all posted online as soon as I can) 🙂

🐣 If you're resort-hopping, keep in mind that the Disney Springs buses are restricted to guests who have either a resort or dining reservations there (just temporarily, everything's expected to go back to normal on Monday). So if you want to visit a particular resort for Easter, make a dining reservation there or park at one of the parks (not Disney Springs) and then take Disney transportation to the resort from there.

🐣 Easter egg displays can be found at Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Yacht Club, and Beach Club. Displays generally come down the day after Easter, so make sure you see those soon!

🐣 Just as we've seen for the past few years, there is not an in-person church service happening on Disney property for Easter. Disney's sign with suggested local and live-stream churches is attached!

🐣 Unfortunately, the traditional ostrich egg decorating activity at Animal Kingdom Lodge is not happening this Easter (the ostriches at AKL didn't produce enough eggs this year).

🐣 Easter baskets are for sale in every resort gift shop! You can build your own or buy a pre-packaged basket. The resort will deliver them to your room early Sunday morning so you can keep it a surprise!

🐣 Fort Wilderness has a bunch of great Easter activities planned - so many that there's a packet of info available with all the details! The QR code is in the attached photo!

✴️ Pool glow parties, silent discos, nighttime trivia, and later pool hours have returned at a lot of resorts now that the weather is warmer!

✴️ Springtime nest check activities are back at Saratoga Springs and Caribbean Beach! Join a member of Disney's Animals, Science, and Environment Team to help study and protect purple martins.

✴️ A couple of resorts activities that normally happen outdoors, Conch Flats Mosaics at Old Key West and the Win, Paint, Show! class at Saratoga Springs, have been moved indoors for a most comfortable experience on hot days.

✴️ They've added an extra class time for Sangria University class at Coronado Springs! It's now available twice a day on Saturdays and Sundays, at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM. This experience also recently moved indoors to Toledo!

✴️ Incredible Easter egg displays can be found at Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Yacht Club, and Beach Club now through April 5!

Hey everyone! Thanks for your patience as I visited all the resorts this weekend to collect all the new activity info for this month. Sorry for the delay in getting them all updated on MRG (a cancelled flight screwed up my usual posting timeline!)

The current calendars will be in effect now through Memorial Day, and the next set of new calendars is expected to align with the Cool Kids' Summer dates (May 26-September 8).

There are LOTS of new activities happening at the resorts this spring, and a bunch of new things to do that aren't even listed on Disney's calendars, so be sure to check Magical Resort Guide's "Free" and "Paid' activities pages for your resort in addition to looking at the calendar.

I'll also do a blog post and email newsletter soon to provide more details about everything new, so now is a great time to sign up for the MRG Newsletter if you haven't already!

Hey everybody! Just a quick reminder that Disney usually waits to post the new March activity calendars after Daylight Savings, so I expect to see new calendars available on March 8 this year.

Until then, the current February calendars will remain in use. This helps them make sure all the new activity times on the updated calendar are consistent and adjusted for the later sunset time after Daylight Savings.

The newest batch of activity calendars will be posted on Magical Resort Guide as soon as they're available!

Santa will be visiting every WDW resort lobby today from 6-8 PM!

Only about half the resorts actually posted a special Christmas Eve activity calendar today; the rest of the resorts are just doing all the usual activities listed on the regular December activity calendar today. The Christmas activity calendars will all be posted on MRG very soon. Merry Christmas!

Here's a look at the newest resort activities for November & December! With the early sunset, the hours for evening activities like campfires and Movies Under the Stars have been extended at several resorts, so that's nice. And a lot more indoor activities are happening this season as well, so no need to worry about outdoor activities getting cancelled due to chilly winter weather. There's also:

❄️ Lobby parties! All 3 All-Star resorts have added indoor lobby parties on select evenings, plus Port Orleans - Riverside and Wilderness Lodge.

❄️ Seasonal Crafts & Winter-Themed Activities! Of course, there are lots of opportunities to create seasonal crafts right now, and you'll find holiday crafts available at most resorts.

❄️ Gingerbread displays and holiday treat pop-up shops! Everyone's favorite gingerbread displays are back this year (minus the life-size gingerbread house at Grand Floridian).

The homepage now features a new Christmas Tree Tracker, where I'm updating daily to show which resorts have been decorated for Christmas, plus I'm noting when those special resort gingerbread displays and pop-up treat shops appear 🎄 https://www.magicalresortguide.com/

Nearly half of the resorts have already been decorated for the holidays, and the rest are expected to be finished before Thanksgiving. Gingerbread displays are now on display at Beach Club, Contemporary, and Boardwalk, with displays at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge coming very soon!
