One thing I’ve learned the hard way this past week is that I don’t do a very good job at taking care of myself.. So thank you for allowing me to recover from a health scare in a way that allows me to get back to what I love doing 🌴

I’ve been quiet on this page over the past week and I want to take a minute to explain and not leave anyone hanging. Sparing you the details, I’ve been dealing with a medical issue that has landed me in the emergency 3 times since Sunday morning.

For whatever reason, my body has just decided to freak out and I’ve had an allergic reaction to what seems to be from a medication I’ve been on for years.

I’m getting great care but having to bust myself in the thigh with an Epi-Pen while home doing nothing was not on my 2026 bingo card.

I am normally a responder to all things within 24 hours.. but the circumstances have slowed me down. I’m so truly sorry about that.

I think this is what we do as moms though.. we put on our healthcare on the back burner and just hope it goes away.. because we are so busy being caregivers to everyone else 🥺

This is obviously not my normal content — but I think it’s the easiest way at this moment to provide some insight on why my responses are slow.

If you pray.. please say a prayer for me 🙏

I’ll take all the prayers, woo woo and good vibes you can my way.

And because of who I am as a person, I’ll likely try to do some work this afternoon once all these meds have done their thing.. and I’ll ignore rest even though I need it because my brain is hard wired to be a worker bee 🐝

Have you ever been on a Halloween on the High seas sailing with Disney Cruise Line? If you haven’t, you are totally missing out!

Here’s a throwback to one of my favorite all time trips. This was a 4 night Bahamas cruise on the Disney Magic last September 😍 We picked “princesses” for our Halloween party night theme and I think we nailed it 👑

Im starting to get so excited for all the families I have sailing this fall!

“Is this going to be like riding the monorail at Disney?”… My tiniest girl rode the school bus for the first time ever today. She has been building this experience up in her head for quite a while. You can imagine we were a little caught off guard hearing those words this morning while waiting on the bus to pull up 😂

CLEARLY she’s one of those boujee Disney kids.. and honestly I don’t blame her! I love long romantic rides on the monorail too 😍

Here are some throwback pictures from our stay at Disneys Grand Floridian Resort last month - where it was too easy to get to Magic Kingdom and fireworks could be enjoyed from the balcony of our room ✨
