Spring is showing off in Lake Havasu 🌵☀️

One of the coolest things about living in the desert is watching the cactus come to life this time of year. All winter they look quiet and still, and then almost overnight they start blooming with these incredible flowers. It’s one of those reminders that the desert is full of surprises if you slow down long enough to notice.

Today we’re sitting at a beautiful 82° in Lake Havasu, and the weather couldn’t be more perfect to get outside, take a walk, get out on the water, or just enjoy the views around town. The desert is waking up and it’s one of the best times of the year to be here.

These blooms don’t last long, which makes them even more special. If you’re out and about this week, keep an eye out — the cactus are putting on quite a show.
