Taste of Lansing today (Thursday May 21st) 5-7 pm. $10 wrist band gets you fun tastes at businesses throughout downtown Lansing. Iowisota will be there (in front of The Works) with acorn crackers to share.

Foraging author Samuel Thayer is coming back to Iowisota for a workshop on July 18th. This one is sure to fill up, we will keep a waiting list. (We already have 10 participants, even before I posted this...) Register on the Iowisota website.

It was a damp day and I didn’t have any participants for my May “women’s walk in the woods”, but I went for a walk anyhow. Lovely and green in the woods: flowers, bird songs, animal tracks, and mushrooms. Watch for the next opportunity, there are always fun things to see in the woods!
