What an incredible day of service at Downtown Cares! 👏💙 Hosted by The Moonridge Foundation in partnership with and , nearly 100 volunteers came together to support and help create a brighter, more welcoming space for local youth.

A special thank you to the Alan Molasky & Family Foundation for sponsoring Moonrise Next Gen and continuing to invest in the next generation of philanthropists and community leaders. We are so grateful for your support and commitment to strengthening Southern Nevada.

We are proud to share that Family Promise has been awarded our $125,000 Collective Impact Grant. Thank you to Julie Murray and Greater Good Council member Casey Flair for presenting this meaningful award.

Family Promise works to prevent and end homelessness for families with children by providing compassionate, community-based support that helps families achieve lasting independence. We are honored to support their life-changing work and the brighter futures they are creating for families in need.

Creating brighter futures, together ✨ Greater Good Council members Tom Thomas, Casey Flair, and Julie Murray, proudly presented Jeremiah Program Las Vegas with a $30,000 second-place Collective Impact Grant award.

Jeremiah Program is changing lives by empowering single mothers and their children to break the cycle of poverty through education, career growth and generational opportunity - creating lasting impact for families and communities alike.

Today, four incredible organizations each received $25,000 in unrestricted support:
• Latoya Holman accepting on behalf of The Public Education Foundation
• Fawn Douglas (Paiute Tribe) with IndigenousAF
• Stephanie Helms with Kline Veterans Fund
• Ali Caliendo with Foster Kinship

Superintendent Dr. Jhone Ebert accepted a transformative $500,000 award for CCSD’s Read With Me program to support childhood literacy across our community.

We had an incredible time with GGC Grant Contender, the , learning more about their powerful mission to disrupt the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children, two generations at a time.

By supporting moms as they pursue their personal and professional goals while investing in their children’s education, they’re helping families rewrite their futures and become catalysts for change in their communities. Truly inspiring work and impact.

We are grateful for the opportunity to visit as a Greater Good Council grant nominee. Their commitment to advancing childhood literacy in low-income communities, changing lives one book at a time, is powerful and deeply needed.
