Property Operations Update on Tropical Storm Nate:

Due to the Levee Gate closure, Treasure Chest Casino will close on Saturday morning, Oct. 7, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. CST until further notice. The property will have normal staffing until that 8:00 a.m. CST closure. Any team member currently scheduled to arrive later than 8:00 a.m. CST Saturday should NOT report as scheduled for their Saturday shift.

Regardless of where the system makes landfall, it is expected to move through quite quickly. At this time, that would mean we can expect greatly improved weather conditions by mid-day Sunday. However, the Levee District controls the timing of re-opening the levee gate, so full re-opening is not completely within our control.

While managers will make every effort to call team members with as much advance notice as possible once we learn of the reopening time, it is the responsibility of each team member who is scheduled to start their shift any time after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday and that have not spoken with their manager, to call the BOYD EMERGENCY HOTLINE at (866) 767-2740 or (702) 692-4161 to learn the updated status of our re-opening. You should call early enough to allow yourself plenty of time to be at work as scheduled, should we be able to re-open.

At this time, we do not have any additional property closures to announce. However, this is a fluid situation.

If you are a team member at Treasure Chest, please stay in contact with your direct supervisor for further developments. We will also post further updates as necessary to emergency.boyd.net and the Boyd Gaming Emergency Support page on https://www.facebook.com/boydemergency/.
