Circa Resort & Casino (LV) and FulltimeFantasy are proud to operate the Fantasy Football World Championships ( https://play.fulltimefantasy.com//ffwc.php the premier, high-stakes, season-long fantasy football contest. WHAT MAKES THE FFWC UNIQUE?
1. 11-man starting lineup - This rewards those who have an eye for talent in the middle to late rounds reducing the "luck factor. You start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR
, 1TE, 1TK (team kicker), 1 DST and 2 FLEX (RB-WR or TE).
2. 13 week regular season - First two weeks and week 14 are all-play where the top 6 scores earn wins. Never start the season 0-2 due to unlucky scheduling again. Weeks 3-14 play each opponent once. We went to a 13 week schedule because we believe every team should still be alive on Thanksgiving (week 13) , the biggest football day of the season.
3. The Dominator Prize - Dominate your league and win $10,000. Dominate = Best record and most points after 14 weeks.
4. Top 4 Teams Advance - 4 teams from each league win a Ticket into the Championship Round. You entered the World Championship for a shot at the $150,000 Grand Prize. Finish in the top 4 and you'll have earned that shot.
5. League Prizes - Our leagues boast the largest league prizes in the industry. At this level of competition, it's all about Return On Investment.
6. FAAB Waiver Pickups - This isn't your home league where your buddy hears big news on a player and scoops them up off the waiver wire before you get home from work. The FFWC employs something called FAAB. It stands for Free Agent Acquisition Bidding. Each week you are given two opportunities to add players to your team via blind bidding. (Wed night at 11pm and Sunday morning at 11am FAAB runs). You are given $1,000 "BID BUCKS" to last you the whole year. Run out, and you're done adding free agents, so spend it wisely. You can start putting bids in as soon as the football week begins. Bids can range from $1 to $1,000. When some unknown RB breaks out after week one for 80 and 2 Touchdowns, you have to decide how much he's worth to your team and bid accordingly. On Wednesday at 11, "waivers run" and you will find out the results. If you didn't get the guys you wanted, you still have another chance on Sunday morning to get somebody to cover that bye week. We have released a video tutorial that helps explain this so you can master Blind Bidding.
