Breathing in fresh ocean air is healing - The body absorbs oxygen easier because of the negative ions present in the salty ocean breeze. Salt also has antibacterial properties. Boost of vitamin D - Even on a cloudy day! We need plenty of vitamin D to feel happy and be healthy.
The support of the sand - It might add a little challenge to your practice, but the sand is a soft cushion of support.
Step outside of your comfort zone - Practicing yoga on the beach can help you get out of your comfort zone and learn things about your practice in a safe, supportive, and relaxed space.

You don’t need a car to enjoy this charming beachfront town. Condo is strategically located, all main attractions, events and necessities are conveniently located within a just few steps from the condo.
Town’s common areas have been designed with relaxing in mind: public plazas where you sit in Adirondack chairs, benches with picnic tables, beach showers, tennis, beach volleyball and basketball courts are available for you to use. All major restaurants provide live music experience all year long. You can also enjoy seasonal farmer’s market, yoga classes, as well as take part in free seasonal dance lessons at the Main Pavilion.
Recognized as “South Florida’s Beach Diving Capital” the town’s shoreline is a mecca for scuba divers with coral reefs teeming with marine life less than 100 yards off the beach. It’s super easy to snorkel or dive right from our sandy beach and go nose to nose with fish, turtles, and lobsters (divers walking through town is very common here) – and of course, fishing from our historic pier over the ocean is our most iconic place to visit. Lauderdale by the Sea is also designated a “Blue Wave Beach,” a distinction given to clean and environmentally-responsible beach communities. You can kayak, paddle board, skim and kite-surf right off of these beaches as well.
