On Sunday, May 3, several of our Lodge members attended the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts Education and Law Awards Breakfast in Newton. We were especially proud to see our nominee, Retired State Representative Smitty Pignatelli, receive the prestigious Public Service Award which recognizes outstanding public service performed by an Italian American. Not only did he willingly and endlessly serve his constituents in the 3rd and 4th Berkshire Districts legislatively over his many terms in office, he also went above and beyond either leading initiatives or giving his support to many local projects. Congratulations, Smitty!
