One year ago, Black Dog Base Camp was just a dream built on faith, hard work, and the hope of creating something special here in Lewiston.

Today, as we look back on this first year, our hearts are so full.

To our community — thank you.
Thank you for welcoming us, encouraging us, cheering us on, and supporting us as we brought Black Dog Base Camp to life.

To every camper who stayed with us, shared a campfire, made memories with family and friends, rode the trails, relaxed under the trees, and chose to spend your time here — thank you. You are the reason this place has become more than just a campground.

And to all the dogs — the happy tails, muddy paws, wet noses, and red bandanas — thank you for bringing so much joy, personality, and love to this place.

This past year has been filled with a lot of work, a lot of growth, and a lot of gratitude. What started as a vision has become a community, and that is because of all of you.

Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for helping make Black Dog Base Camp what it is today.

We are beyond grateful for every kind word, every visit, every shared photo, every recommendation, and every memory made here.
