stopped by today to work on cirqus Voltaire and black rose. I can fix a lot of things but I know when to call Ernie.

CV had a very well hidden broken wire that caused the right slingshot to not fire.

Black Rose needs a $250 PinSound board.
Battery acid damage.

NBA fastbreak got a new $250 pin sound rocket CPU board today so that game works again!

Raw Thrills, Inc. arcade games computer was sent to Massachusetts to be repaired. It should be back next week sometime.

Next will be the computer from one of the gets removed and sent for repair in Massachusetts. This game is also stuck on the "loading game screen' like Terminator. Nothing I've done seems to help.

Trying to keep up with the repairs so we're 100% operational again.

After the leaking batteries damaged our NBA fastbreak's mpu board, I bought a new unpopulated mpu from . I didn't know it was unpopulated because I didn't read the description well enough. When it showed up I realized I didn't have the tool to remove the ASIC chip so I pried it out with a knife and ended up breaking off one of the tiny metal legs.
So I bought a new chip to put in the new rotten dog board and I transferred my other computer chips over. I thought I was all done but then when I put it in the game it wouldn't boot up without the NV ram in it. I can't use NV ram in this because it's a game where the clock has to be set. So midnight madness can happen once a day.
We removed the old chip from the old board and placed it in the rotten dog board and where the NV ram was. But then the game wouldn't boot.
Pinball life was nice enough to let me return the board and they gave me a refund as soon as they got it.

The next chapter of the story is that I found across the pond. Had a board that would work called the board. So, I ordered one of those! Not really knowing what to expect. I ordered it unpopulated because I had the chips to put in it.

It arrived today and I'm blown away by what was included in the box. They included a tool to remove the asic chip and a tool to remove the other chips. They also included an instruction manual, a brochure, some candy that you probably can't get in the USA and two batteries!

The rotten dog board came with nothing in it. Not a damn thing.

Rotten dog has got to step up its game if it wants to compete with pin sound.

The video arcade games have never had their software updated since new back in 2010.

I bought the most recent updates from raw thrills and am installing them today!

Fast and furious super cars driving games went from version 1.2 all the way up to version 2.06!

The H2 overdrive went from version 1.0 to 1.6!

I think I'm going to do the super bikes 2 game once I finish the second fast and furious game.

The games all have more vehicles and tracks to choose from. More songs too.

I fell for the marketing hype and ordered luxury towels for our guest house.

These towels come from China and they take about 2 months to arrive. When they arrive. You will be disappointed.

Costco towels are much better quality and weigh quite a bit more for the exact same size towel. See my pictures where I weighed each towel to compare them.

The onuia towel is already falling apart. After one wash. It's thin and not luxurious whatsoever.

They have an incredible marketing and advertising campaign that really sucks you in and makes you want to buy it. I fell for it! I'm returning these for sure.

Don't believe the hype or all the fake five Star reviews.

We don't rent our Airbnb anymore for a bunch or reasons BUT friends do come to stay once in a while.

Mike and his family come to visit us all the way from Ohio on a road trip each year. We love having them around!

Each year they bring a thoughtful and useful gift. It's going to be hard to top the Ninja smoothie machine! Thanks guys. 👍
