Justice for an alumni has finally come. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Anaya family in this difficult time. Times like these we as friends and classmates come together to support one of our own. It gives us a reflecting moment as to what's important in life. Family, friends and love for each other! We pray for our fellow friend and family member.

Long Beach! Our city's first high school was built right here in DTLB at the corner of 8th and Long Beach Blvd. (or what was then dubbed American Avenue). Built in 1898, the school was home to 43 pupils and a staff of three (a principal and two teachers). It is now Renaissance Arts High School

Irving Camacho is 27 years old with a weak heart that only works 20%, he has a heartpace to help with the heart beating. Both of his kidneys have failed on him and for this reason he is in and out of the hospital. Irving is in need of a donator for both organs, and a transplant. The worse part is...

ATTENTION: Reunion BBQ This Saturday Aug 8th is canceled due to park deconstruction. City of Long Beach, Parks and Rec, tore out the BBQ pits at Bixby Park today. They also started deconstruction of the play ground and staging area. Sooo....the BBQ is canceled, luckily we scheduled two events so if you all want too we can meet for drinks. If not I'm gonna have to cancel the event entirely or reschedule at a later time. Please tell me what you all think. I know some of you all are here from out of state. And I'm sure we all want to see each other so let's figure something out. I'm thinking meet at a place on pine at 8 or 9. Somewhere with food. Taco Beach or Shannon's!!!

UPDATE: Reunion date set for Saturday 8th of August. Look out for the next post which will have the rest of the event information. We set the date, couple months ahead so that everyone has time to prepare.

10 YEAR REUNION IS HERE!!!!!!!!!
So the sticker on the inside of your yearbooks has more information about registering your current information, they do not organize or hold reunions.....trust me we asked. So I'm leaving it up for a vote! Majority vote wins....another vote will determine the date the reunion will be held at a later time. PLEASE VOTE! The winner will determine what the reunion is, and location of it. CAST YOUR VOTE IN THE COMMENT SECTION BELOW!!!!!!!
