🗣️ NOW HIRING: Community Events Coordinator (Live-in Role)
📍 Downtown LA – Artist Housing DTLA
💵 Compensation: $18/hour (applied toward $700 rent + $160 optional parking)
📝 Must have a credit score above 600

Are you a creative, high-energy person who wants to help build community — but can also follow structure and policy? Artist Housing DTLA is looking for a Community Events Coordinator to live onsite and plan fun, low-budget events that bring residents together.

Job Duties (48 hrs/month required):
Plan & host 1–2 community events per month
Decorate for holidays and themed events
Promote events with flyers and social posts
Create a monthly highlight reel for hallway TV
Take headshots & help connect talented tenants
Use Trello for all task tracking and updates
Check event attendees’ rent status using TenantCloud
Submit headcounts after each event
Enforce guest access restrictions: only tenants in good standing may participate

Requirements:
✅ Must have a credit score of 600+
✅ Must learn Trello (no chaotic texting allowed)
✅ Must use TenantCloud at check-ins to exclude nonpaying tenants
✅ May only complete bonus tasks (e.g. cleaning or check-ins) if approved after primary hours are complete

🎯 This is a perfect role for someone social, reliable, and tech-comfortable — who also understands boundaries, structure, and budget constraints.
🎟️ Event budgets are small (maybe $20–50/event), but larger events like talent shows or guest appearances can be approved if they generate major value.

The world’s first co-living community and it was made for film and music artists and still the most affordable co-living company in Los Angeles.

​Since 2012 Artist Housing has provided accommodations for professionals in the arts and entertainment industry who want to live with others in their field.

Tenants are not just paying for a bed and a roof, but a community to collaborate and benefit one another. This experience will be motivating and inspiring as you pursue your aspirations in the film and music industry.

Even if you are not in the entertainment industry we encourage everyone to apply. We accept all applications.

Leases are month to month. We only require you to give a 30-day notice before vacating.

Rooms are rented furnished or non-furnished at no additional cost to you.

All private rooms share access to amenities depending on the property but can RANGE from film and music production space, retail space with a lot of exposure, to jacuzzis, and exercise equipment. You can hang out at any of our properties if you are a tenant at one.
