Sometimes finding the right rhythm is about knowing when to listen, when to adapt, and when to bring the right people into the room. That was one of our favorite takeaways from the Assisted Living Association of Alabama’s 2026 Fall Conference, Rhythm & Flow, in Florence, AL.

As an exhibitor, our team had the opportunity to connect with assisted living professionals, fellow exhibitors, and organizations working toward the same bigger goal: stronger communities and better support for the people they serve.

Meet a man who never stopped swinging. Billy "Chief" Fryar is proof that determination doesn't take a back seat to anything, including a life-changing spinal cord injury.

Today, Chief hits the course using a modified SoloRider golf cart, built to keep him doing what he loves most: playing the game. His resilience is a reminder to all of us that setbacks don't have to mean the end of the road; sometimes they just mean finding a new way forward.
