Hi everyone!! We will be at the Page County Fair in the funnel cake building Tomorrow, Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 10pm selling our delicious funnel cakes. Come and enjoy the fair along with all the vendors and stop by and get your funnel cake/s.. We look forward to seeing you.

Happy 4th of July!! We had a very successful turnout for our funnel cake fundraiser. Thank you for everyone who came and enjoyed our funnel cakes! We had very positive reviews. We also had several return customers!!! We want to give a huge THANK YOU to Ed Daily, Tom Kilcullen and his wife Jill, Lary and Karen Wyckoff, and CJHays Construction. This would of not been a success without all your help and hard work. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!

We will be fundraising at Bedford Fest on June 28, 2025 selling Funnel Cakes. We will be located with the other food vendors.

Another round of bricks completed by Prairie Rose. We will have them cleaned and sealed and on display at the Garland with the others. Another round will be in production soon.

Good evening, everyone.

We hope everyone had a great holiday and great start to the New Year.

We are gearing back up for fund raising and work on the Garland now that the weather is starting to warm up (fingers crossed). Fundraising events and dates to follow.

Parie Rose has completed 7 of the 11 bricks that people have purchased. We will be hand delivering the remainder of the brick to them sometime this week for them to engrave and picking up the 7 that are complete. We will post the photos here once in hand.

We are in contact with a few financial avenues to help get this beautiful building complete to help bring travelers to Bedford so they can enjoy the community we love.

Brick pavers for $100/ brick for engraving and Room Sponsorships for $5,000 are still available. Please messenger us if you would like more information and or the forms.

Good morning everyone

Update on bricks: The latest 11 bricks that were purchased are still in line for engraving. The engravers are working on holiday gift orders and they will get them done once the holiday orders are completed. We will update on status and post the bricks when they are completed.

Back to work at the Garland Hotel after a great tour weekend. In removing the second floor covering we found newspapers from November of 1927. Newspapers from Des Moines Register and Chicago Tribune. We carefully pulled them up and are trying to preserve them but if you can zoom in the articles are very interesting. Click the follow button to get updates as they come through.. More to come
