Mutual Respect
At Mammoth Cave Horse Camp, we truly understand that life happens. Trucks break down, horses can have unexpected issues, illnesses happen, weather changes, and plans sometimes don’t unfold the way we hoped. We genuinely sympathize with those situations because we know many of them are beyond anyone’s control.
With that said, we kindly ask all guests to read and understand our reservation and cancellation policies before booking. Those policies are not created to be difficult or uncaring—they exist so campgrounds like ours can continue to operate and serve our guests for years to come.
When a reservation is made, it becomes a commitment built on mutual respect between the campground and the guest. Guests trust us to hold and honor their campsite reservation, and we take that responsibility seriously. In the same way, we ask that our guests respect the policies that support those reservations.
Requesting an exception every time circumstances change can unintentionally place small businesses in a difficult position. A campground simply cannot remain sustainable if every cancellation policy becomes optional. Holding reservations and honoring policies are both part of the same agreement.
We appreciate every guest who chooses to stay with us and value the trust you place in our campground. Thank you for understanding that mutual respect helps create a fair experience for everyone and allows Mammoth Cave Horse Camp to continue providing a place where great friends, great horses, and great memories come together.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
