❤️ This one really hit home.

We’re always grateful for a 5-star review, but every once in a while, a guest says something that reminds us why we started doing this in the first place.

MJ recently stayed at Connie’s Little House, looking for a quiet place where she and her dog could unwind and enjoy nature.

What she found — and what she wrote about — meant a lot to our family.

Connie’s Little House isn’t just another rental to us. It has history. It has memories. We’ve tried to preserve Connie Snook’s story through her antiques, memorabilia, gardens, and all the little things that give the cabin its character.

Hearing a guest say that “the cabin itself felt like it belonged to my family” and that it had a warmth that made her smile really hit home.

That’s exactly what we hoped to create when we started Rent North.

A place where people can slow down. Get outside. Spend time with the people — and pets — they love. And maybe leave with a few memories of their own.

Every season we’re investing back into our campground to make it an even better place to stay. Our newest landscaping improvements are starting to come together, adding more curb appeal while creating a cleaner, more welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

If you’re running diesel equipment, pulling a camper, or just driving a diesel truck, it’s worth making the stop.

Diesel is only $4.47/gallon today — that’s about 50¢ per gallon cheaper than what I’ve been seeing along US-131!

Supporting local businesses while saving money is a win-win. Thanks to the team at Northern Bear for keeping fuel prices competitive for our community! 🇺🇸

If you’re heading through the area, it might just pay for the short detour. 💰
