Yes! This. Book direct and we all win!!

This goes for all independently owned and boutique accommodation places. Sites like Exp3dia & B00king.c0m aren't here for the little guys. Chain hotels get a much better bulk commission rate because of the # of rooms they are able to sell, so they can offer higher discounts. We have to pass some of that cost to the customer, so our rates are actually higher on those sites. On top of taking up to 20% commission, they'll then ask us to offer additional discounts so we can gain "visibility" and "ranking"- we can barely come out even on these sites. It's not fair to us or you!

We lose control over helping you make changes to your reservations or direct communication, so things get complicated. Let's just keep two of us in this relationship, not 3!
