Quilts by Bette I make memory quilts & pillows from t-shirts and other clothing. I also fix quilts that are in need of repair. I live and work in Mansfield Center Connecticut.

I've been quilting for over 40 years. It is my passion. I'm also an avid knitter. My husband and I own Stone Arches Bed and Breakfast and we love it.

I made these quilts for a woman who has worked at Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Gang camp in Ashford, CT for many years. One is staff shirts and the other event shirts. Quite the collection.

Christine Pattee, pictured below had me make these two quilts for her. One entitled “Christine Pattee’s activist history—in T-shirts…The other she had made for Jen Rizzotti. Pretty cool.

The quilt on the left was very small….just the center 9 shirts with some black sashing. I was able to take it apart and add 16 more shirts with sashing to make the quilt quite a bit larger and then did an overall quilt design. The quilt on the right, is a more traditional t-shirt quilt for a special someone’s gift. I hope he enjoys it.

These small quilts feature onesies worn by recipients when they were babies. So cute.
