After being closed for about eight months due to flooding, this iconic Oregon Coast location is ready for your elopement or micro-wedding!

With the waterfall, caves, old stagecoach road, secluded cove, and dramatic cliffside views, Hug Point offers SO many possibilities for intimate weddings, first looks, and portraits.

🌿 A few things to know:
• Visit at low tide—this location is tide dependent.
• The waterfall is seasonal and tends to be fuller in spring and fall.
• This is best suited for very small weddings and elopements.

Jake & Tesla wanted their commitment ceremony to feel completely their own, intimate, meaningful, and a little unconventional.

They arrived separately so they wouldn’t see each other before the ceremony. I picked Jake up from their vacation rental while Tesla followed behind us. When they finally saw each other for the first time, she was walking down the “aisle” toward him. ❤️

One of my favorite moments was their wine box ritual. They each placed their vows inside a keepsake box with a bottle of wine, then hammered it shut together. They plan to open it on a future anniversary, read those words again, and remember this moment on the beach where they promised to keep choosing each other. 🔨🍷💕

Brad and Angelica had the sweetest morning elopement with their closest friends and family today. 🤩

I really love morning weddings in the summer because you beat the crowds (and the heat), plus parking isn't an issue and the filtered morning sunlight is incredible. ✨.

So many of my couples are traveling to the Oregon coast for the very first time to elope here! ❤️

There’s something so freeing, intimate, and adventurous about choosing to leave the stress behind, and focusing on what truly matters...your love, your commitment, your moment.

No pleasing others. Just choosing each other and a special place to say your vows.

NOTE: The parking lot at Hug Point is currently closed for repair due to flood damage.

This elopement was several years ago and Hug Point was open. 🌊💕🌲

Back in the pandemic haze, I seized the opportunity to wear this beautiful dress for an impromptu photo shoot with .

It was dark and cold but Brigitte showed up at the crack of dawn to do my hair & makeup.

It turned out so fun! We had the place all to ourselves. Laurie's creativity and vision always amazes me!

Grateful to have such a fun and talented team of professionals on the Oregon Coast! ❤️❤️

Ecola State Park is officially back open! 🤩

After some serious flooding damage, the road has been repaired and access reopened as of April 8.

Couples love the beautiful views, wooded trails, and the moody vibe of Indian Beach (where Twilight was filmed). It’s such a special spot for a ceremony, and it’s so good to have it back. 💕

One of the things I love most about being an Officiant is being surrounded by so much love energy. Standing on the beach, celebrating two people and their story, never gets old. 💖
