Marble Springs Lodge #439 A brotherhood of good men working to build character, serve our community, and preserve the traditions of Freemasonry in Cherokee County, North Carolina.

Meetings: 1st Saturday each month, Dinner at 6:30pm Meeting at 7:30pm. Visitors always welcome. Marble Springs Lodge No. 439, A.F. & A.M. is a Masonic Lodge under the Grand Lodge of North Carolina, located in the small town of Marble, in Cherokee County. Established in the 19th century, our Lodge continues the proud tradition of Freemasonry — a fraternity that teaches moral integrity, personal gro

wth, and service to others. We meet on the 1st Saturday of each month at 7:00 PM for fellowship, education, and Masonic labor. Our members include local tradesmen, professionals, and retirees — men of all backgrounds united by a common goal: to become better men. Whether you’re a Brother traveling through Western North Carolina or a man curious to learn more about Freemasonry, you’ll find a warm welcome at Marble Springs Lodge.

What an egg-cellent day of fellowship, family, and community!

We had an awesome time at our Lodge Easter Egg Hunt yesterday!

We were blessed to have 58 kids in attendance, and it was truly a joy to see so many families come out and enjoy the day. Our lodge greatly enjoyed hosting this event and being able to serve our community in such a fun and meaningful way.

In preparation for the event, we boiled and dyed 2,160 Easter eggs, and we even had the opportunity to let some of the kids help with the egg dyeing. It was a great time of fellowship and fun, and we’ve included photos from the egg boiling and dyeing as well!

A special thank you to Marble Springs Baptist Church for sponsoring the event and helping make it possible. We also want to extend our sincere gratitude to the Palmer family and all of the others who donated prizes for the kids — your generosity helped make the day extra special.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us. We look forward to doing it again next year!

The Fellow Craft – The Degree of the Mind
In the 2nd Degree, the work moves inward.
The Entered Apprentice learned how to shape his actions.
The Fellow Craft learns how to shape his mind.
This is the degree of study, discipline, and intellectual light.
Geometry becomes sacred language — showing that the universe is not chaos, but design.
The liberal arts train the mind to think clearly, speak wisely, and reason honestly.
The winding stair is the climb of consciousness — step by step toward deeper awareness.
The Middle Chamber is not a room… it is a state of mind.
Between Boaz and Jachin we learn balance:
Not too rigid.
Not too loose.
Strength and stability in harmony.
“Square conduct, level steps, upright intentions” is no longer theory —
It becomes the daily discipline of a man who is learning how to think, not just how to act.
The 2nd Degree doesn’t shout.
It whispers.
It tells you:
Study is sacred.
Curiosity is holy.
And every step upward begins with a willing mind.
You are no longer just building your life —
