I had two more sets of swings added to the property and replaced the swings that were here with something that looks nicer. Of course opening the little campground takes three times longer than I expected, but I feel like it’s starting to have a personality. Green everywhere, flowers, animals, privacy, open land. I can’t wait to post pictures. Of course, every time I think I’m almost finished there’s something new.

Sometimes my little girl will let me pick her up and give her a neck and wing scratch. Her nickname is H, short for HOA because she’s the inspector for all things on my property. For anyone who doesn’t know, she is a French Toulouse goose and one of my original flock. She follows me around and when I lean down to talk with her, she’ll get up in my face and tell me everything she’s thinking😝💕

I decided that we cannot be without birds here at the Emerald Woods. I just ordered several little girls — four chocolate Indian runner ducklings and three French Toulouse goslings💕. Stay tuned for pictures of the babies when they arrive and pictures as they grow and they will grow quickly!

Looking forward to the wedding ceremony here, Friday. We are busy preparing the gardens and cleaning and need to shop for the sparkling wine and bread and fruit and cheese💕. What a relief that we got rain and everything is so much more green!
