Glamping - Historical Property Hidden in the Woods

One of my baby Toulouse geese is having some trouble getting around. It could be because these geese are one of the bigger geese breeds and she could be growing so quickly her bones aren’t ready for her mass. It’s unlikely to be a nutritional deficiency because she eats great and gets lots of supplementation and none of the other birds are having this issue. I think H, the queen of my flock, has been picking on her. So for now, this little girl is hanging out in the house with Mom and going to give her some anti-inflammatories in a few minutes. Send some positive vibes her way. 💕🪿💕

I had two more sets of swings added to the property and replaced the swings that were here with something that looks nicer. Of course opening the little campground takes three times longer than I expected, but I feel like it’s starting to have a personality. Green everywhere, flowers, animals, privacy, open land. I can’t wait to post pictures. Of course, every time I think I’m almost finished there’s something new.

H and the ballerinas💕. The white girls are Sebastopols, a type of goose known for their curly feathers.

Sometimes my little girl will let me pick her up and give her a neck and wing scratch. Her nickname is H, short for HOA because she’s the inspector for all things on my property. For anyone who doesn’t know, she is a French Toulouse goose and one of my original flock. She follows me around and when I lean down to talk with her, she’ll get up in my face and tell me everything she’s thinking😝💕
