🍁🎂FALL BIRTHDAY SHENANIGANS AT THE RAVEN!

This past Sunday, The Raven traded off our usual couples’ retreat vibes for a piñata, s’mores bar, games, and birthday cakes! Plus a whole lot of fun! 🎉

Two birthdays and enough energy to remind us why adults need caffeine…because kids run on pure chaos and sugar! 🤣

But in between the noise, the laughter, and all the birthday madness, we made some pretty great memories.

And honestly? That’s what it’s all about. Good times, great memories, and just a little controlled chaos. 😂

The Raven has officially survived another adventure! And I’m pretty sure the kids would give it five ⭐️’s!

🔨🏚️ MOVE OVER, CHIP & JOANNA… THE feRal-RATED VERSION IS HERE! 😂☠️

FOUR straight 12+ hours a day at the river cabin… Aaron replacing the roof before the rains came in (which was a lot more work than anticipated) while I did MORE cleaning, organized, stained trim, and painted shelving.

Basically, he brings the construction skills, I bring the finishing touches, and together we bring the kind of behind-the-scenes footage HGTV would NEVER air. ❌🤣

But guess what?! WE ARE SO CLOSE TO THE FINISH LINE!! 🙌🏽

The River Cabin is almost ready for its debut!

Chip and Joanna have Fixer Upper. We have Cabin Fever: The Uncensored Edition. 💀😂

It’s the month I became a mom, the month of crisp mornings and chilly evenings, and the time of year when the fire pit and hot tub become the perfect combination again.

There’s just something about October that makes you want to slow down a little… cozy up, gather around a fire, and enjoy the simple things.

The Raven is officially dressed for fall.

Underground fungi connect the roots of trees and plants, creating networks that can share nutrients and warning signals.

Scientists even nicknamed it the “Wood Wide Web.” 🪾🛜

Turns out the forest has had better networking than some rural internet providers for years. 😂
