Hi Mamas! I’m a local mom starting a home organizing an interior styling business. I’d love to offer my fellow Mamas a special discounted rate (50% off of my normal rates) for a kid’s room or playroom overhaul and redesign (using things you have, or purchasing new). First come, first served - I will provide this discount to the first three individuals who book with me! We will need to hop on a video call to determine your project price, but I estimate project costs to generally fall within $350-$600 depending on how large the space is and/or how many belongings you have.

Nest & Gather is officially here 🌿

I started Nest & Gather to help people create homes and workspaces that feel lighter, calmer, and easier to live in. Not picture-perfect or rigid—just thoughtfully arranged in a way that supports your real life.

If organizing or simplifying has been sitting on your mental to-do list (or quietly stressing you out), this is where I come in. We’ll work together, gently and practically, to create systems that make your days flow a little better.

If you’re curious about working together, there’s an interest form in my bio. Fill it out and I’ll reach out to set up a consultation so we can talk through your space and what you’re hoping for. Serving McMinnville and the Portland, Oregon area.

Small shifts. More ease. A home that supports you.

A small thing that changed my cooking experience.

I finally moved all my random spice jars into matching ones and labeled them with this old-school vintage labeler I found. Took me under an hour, but now every time I open the spice cupboard it feels… calm. Like my kitchen is letting out a long exhale.

It’s amazing how the simplest shifts can make a space feel more grounded. 🌿

Hi there - I’m Sayla, a home and business organizer with a professional background in sustainability, zero-waste and thoughtful planning. I’m also a wife and mom to a toddler, so I understand how important it is for a home to support both gathering and quiet, everyday life.

I love creating spaces that make it easy to welcome people in—whether that’s friends around the table, family dropping by, or small, simple gatherings that don’t require a lot of effort. At the same time, I believe a home should fully support nesting too: cozy movie nights, slow evenings, and the rhythms that help a family feel grounded and at ease. When a space supports both, it naturally creates more room for connection.

I love going on hikes and traveling, and I’m endlessly interested in optimizing spaces and routines so they feel calm, functional, and intuitive.

Time isn’t found. It’s freed.

Freed from piles that need sorting.
Freed from rooms that quietly ask for your attention.
Freed from the constant mental note of “I’ll get to that later.”

When a home stays clean and tidy with very little effort, time opens up. Not because you suddenly have more hours—but because your space stops asking so much of you.

These moments—the art projects with your children, spontaneous beach days, time spent actually living—are what become possible when your home supports your life instead of competing with it.

This is the kind of freedom I help create: simple systems, fewer decisions, and a home that holds you gently so you can step back into your life with ease.

Your home should support the life you want.

A lot of people roll their eyes at New Year’s goals.
And honestly, I get it.

But if you want to use this moment as a line in the sand -
to stop resetting the same spaces,
to stop feeling behind in your own home,
to finally set things up in a way that sticks -
I say go for it.

This isn’t about perfection or doing more.
It’s about creating systems that support the life you’re already living,
so your home feels easier to maintain instead of something to keep up with.

If this is the year you want your home to feel calmer - and stay that way -
I help with exactly that.

✨ A small change can make a big difference. ✨

After too many mismatched spice jars cluttering my kitchen, I decided to give them a little love. Now, everything is in its place, easily accessible, and oh-so-chic! 🌿✨

It took less than an hour to transform chaos into calm. Here’s to cooking with joy and a sprinkle of style!

Minimalism lets you come through.

It’s not about stripping everything away or living with nothing. It’s about having fewer things to manage so the things you keep can actually be seen.

When there’s less competing for attention, the items that reflect you start to stand out — the pieces you chose on purpose, the ones that feel familiar, the ones that make your space feel like yours.

Less rearranging.
Less visual noise.
More of your taste, your rhythm, your life showing up in your home.

Reach out if you’re curious about how minimalism can help your true self shine through in your own home.

A small desk refresh, in time for client calls.

I try to source most things pre-owned, but I made one practical exception here — a washable rug, because life happens. Everything else found its way in secondhand, including a favorite West Elm line I spotted on Facebook Marketplace and couldn’t pass up.

My minimalism + organizing books are stacked nearby now — pretty, useful, and within arm’s reach when I need a little reminder of why I do this work.

A calm, steady place to sit, think, and connect.

Before → After

When we bought the house, the dining room was fine.
But it wasn’t really doing anything.

White paint shifted the energy right away.
We brought back our old mid-century table—now it’s for dinners, art projects, homework, the long linger.

A mid-century dresser that didn’t work in the bedrooms moved in here instead. Craft supplies, contained. Everything has a place.

No more. No less.
Just what we need for everyday life.

Good rooms don’t have to be complicated.
Often it’s about using what you already have—on purpose.
