Wine & Nut Room, Folk Alliance International The Wine & Nut Room (1910) has, in recent years become one of the most popular showcase rooms at the Folk Alliance International Conference

The Wine & Nut was actually the nickname of Will Sexton's old house, which was always open to friends and musicians passing through Austin. It was a point of convergence for local songwriters and touring artists to hang out late at night, drink wine, and play music in the front yard. Now, the Wine & Nut carries on in Rm. 1910 of the Memphis Marriott during Folk Alliance International with the same

spirit as that old house. Join the historic and always memorable music of the Wine & Nut where you will find remarkable showcases through the afternoon and evening. And closing out the night there is always an unforgettable, late-night jam - Will Sexton's Wine & Nut Hootenanny. Additionally, this year Will Sexton will host a series called "10 Songwriters and a J-45" where songwriters will be invited up to play a song on the Gibson set up at the front of the room.
