The Peabody Memphis is one of those bucket-list hotels. On the Historic Hotels of America list, it checks off that historic box I often look for in my hotels.
But it’s not just historic; it has a story, and it’s truly unique. What other hotel has ducks living on the roof that march down to the lobby and spend the day in the fountain? That’s what makes it special and gives it that story.
But The Peabody Memphis offers more. It makes you feel good. It’s special—and it makes you feel special. That’s what hospitality is all about, right?
Beautiful rooms, luxurious bedding, a stunning lobby, well-preserved original architecture—and a perfect stop on my Delta road trip.
Oh, and don’t forget the food and cocktails. Plenty of restaurants inside the hotel and within walking distance. (My husband and I once stayed here with friends to see The Dempseys perform on Beale Street… just a short walk away.)
You just can’t go wrong with a stay at The Peabody Memphis.
