Hurricane Isais is apparently headed straight toward Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan—and we have 2 beach houses in the line of fire. 😬

Now there have been sightings that Jim Cantore has arrived in the area. Whether that’s true or not, everyone knows when Jim shows up, it’s time to bring in the patio furniture, say a big prayer…and pour a very large glass of w**e while watching the weather channel closely! 🍷🌀

We have an Odd weekend available this weekend at the beach. Some sort of glitch in the calendar allowed a guest not to book full week. I thought the guest after them might add the nights but they have now decided against it. So if you would like to go for this weekend, Friday and Saturday night, I will make you a deal.

Check out our other house, Boscos Bungalow! If you aren’t familiar with Boscos, it is just 3 houses down from Melonheads and together they make a great set up for large family vacations.

This week it was the nesting site of a rare Kemps Ridley sea turtle. Those guests were so excited and I am so jealous to have not been there for this amazing spectacle.

We have a mailbox!

What’s the significance?
Here in Fort Morgan getting Amazon packages has been delegated to the postal service and not Amazon delivery. For the past two years if you ordered Amazon, the post office would not deliver it if you didn’t have a mailbox and was a certified customer of usps.

Now we have a mailbox and my Amazon showed up! I know some return guests that will be excited!
