11.9 acres of young oak and maple trees, Stella Polaris, Is a Promise hard worked for and kept from beyond the grave made to a young man who ran away to be married at 14. Withstanding all the hate the world could muster still holding strong 2 decades later. In a town where the hate of almost 200 years ago never fully took hold on the residents of Cherokee Chiefs and Princesses, Runaway Slaves, Mulattos and Squaw men decent. Still evident in the modern day is the tolerance along with the vast and varied artistic talent of the Mentone Community as a whole. We live and bear testament of the history that, though obscured, precedes us nonetheless. We hope to share the great peace granted to all who stood to receive it.

Just starting out we offer Five very very primitive campgrounds with individual parking areas spread out amongst 5 acres, 2 minutes walk to Main house. 5 min walk to the Southern Herbal studies schoolhouse and laboratory. 10 minutes drive to 3 State Parks and wildlife preserve areas and three water water falls. 30 minutes drive to 3 National Parks and several other state parks and historic sites. Our little town is a perfect stopping place for anybody traveling from Atlanta to Nashville or Huntsville. There is an electrical car charging station 20 miles down the road.

We are just starting we do NOT encourage public drinking and raucous behavior. We will be glad to help share local knowledge

Yall just tryin to work everything I got. i'm just starting this on a chewing gum budget. I do hope yall can find it in your heart to support me. I'm getting older and my hip injuries make things harder the older i get. I will delete this post if i can get this going but i need it to explain the actions im going to take while i try to get this going.
