The Hotel Villa Convento has good bones! Read this review: “If you are going to New Orleans to experience the true historic French Quarter this is the place to stay. Location is excellent for walking to most places, character, beautiful views, lovely, clean rooms. As a group of 5, we split the 2 rooms on 4th floor and it was perfect. Coffee and tea available until late and staff are so kind and helpful. Location is safe and has a fantastic bakery across the street. My only caution is the elevator...it's a little noisy and old but it's got personality baby!” — Nicky
