Hello, dear ones. We’ll still be posting here on occasion, but we’ve consolidated most of our activity into our main Frog Moon Hollow FB page. We’re posting here on music and art, ancestral healing and genealogy, Bach essences and herbalism, as well as other topics like energy and sound healing, music, crystal work, and simply the beauty of our natural environment here at the Hollow. We hope you’ll come join us.

Frog Moon Hollow is a magical place where nature spirits peek around every corner & frogs rule the roost. It exists, tucked away in the woods of VT. And it exists in the heart of all who seek the magic & the wonder.

The Hokulani Lounge is back and better than ever! As some of you know we had some challenging...um...mechanical difficulties this winter (busted oil tank, busted hot water heater, busted furnace!), so the lounge became a storage space over the winter while all that was going on. But we worked hard this weekend to restore it to its former glory and add a few new touches, as well. So it WILL be open and available for your south seas lounging pleasure this Thursday for our full FROG moon celebration! :)

I had a dream last night that Bernie Sanders and his entourage came and visited the Hokulani Lounge...and they were hungry, so we were scrambling to feed them all. What do you think that means? Hmmmm......

Made this to hold the scorpion & volcano bowls etc. Started out as a plain IKEA plant stand that I've had for 20+ years. I woodburned some designs into it from motifs taken off some pieces of tapa cloth that I'm going to use in the lounge. Then gave it a coat of Minwax Provincial stain. Still needs a coat or 2 of urethane, but I think it will do the job nicely ;)

Ha ha, sometimes I can't believe the funky stuff we find at thrift shops & yard sales. Who knew sea urchin/driftwood candleholders even existed?

Progress is being made! We'll have some updates to show soon. But for now, we've been corralling all of the tiki-esque bits and pieces I've collected over the years. This definitely isn't everything, but we're getting there! I can't wait to adorn the lounge with abundant tikiness...

Progress...got most of the extraneous furniture out & the new bar in! Next steps: painting the walls near the stove, then adding matting & bamboo to the walls around the bar area. We're getting there bit by bit!

Mr. Slapshot "Lono Kai" Trapani (seen here with his good buddy, Elvis) deserves a big shout out. So far this week, I've made him drive to Montreal (2.5 hrs...yeah, like Canada), Burlington (1 hr), and Fair Haven (2 hrs) to acquire fabulous Craigslist deals for the Hokulani Lounge. And amazingly he does it all with a smile :)
