To: All Residents and Members of Woodland Lakes
Subject: Clarification of Recent Document Postings and Upcoming Comprehensive Community Update
Dear Neighbors,
It has come to the attention of the Board of Directors that several internal operational charts and data sheets were recently posted to the community Facebook group by our office staff. These documents were published prematurely, without Board authorization, and --most importantly-- without the vital financial context, project costs, and background explanations necessary to understand them. We understand that seeing raw, incomplete data without explanation causes unnecessary confusion and concern. Please rest assured that the Board is actively managing our community's infrastructure, finances, and legal responsibilities with strict oversight.
To ensure complete accuracy and transparency, the Board is currently compiling a comprehensive, full-term accounting of all community actions, project budgets, and infrastructure improvements completed during our time in office. This complete package is currently undergoing a final review by our legal counsel to ensure total compliance with our association's bylaws.

Your Board believes that sensitive association business, community financial data, and official updates should not be debated or picked apart in the casual comment sections of social media.
Going forward, all official, verified Board communications, financial audits, and project updates will be printed and distributed directly to you. This ensures every resident--whether they use social media or not-- receives the exact same accurate, official information at the exact same time.

*Infrastructure & Maintenance Projects: A clear breakdown of completed and in-progress work (including our wells, bathhouses , roads, and drainage), paired with the exact costs, vendor selections, and long-term community benefits.
*Financial Health & Dues Collection: A clear, contextual narrative explaining our multi-year dues collection cycles, ensuring you understand our actual financial standing rather than looking at a raw, unverified percentage.
*Fiduciary & Legal Actions: An explanation of the Board's strict legal duty to pursue delinquent accounts through collections and liens, which we do solely to protect the financial interests of our paying members.
*Community Safety & Programs: A properly structured, legally compliant approach to our neighborhood volunteer committees and food bank initiatives.
We want to thank you for your patience while we finalize this comprehensive package. Our goal is to provide you with a report that is easy to understand, completely transparent, and legally sound. You can expect the full, printed report to be delivered directly to your home in the coming weeks.
