American Muslims for Palestine - Minnesota Minnesota chapter of American Muslims for Palestine. Supporting Palestine through education/advocacy We do this for two reasons.

First, we want to put a human face on Palestinians so people will come to see we are all alike, with the same hopes, dreams and aspirations. Second, we believe once Americans know the truth that their tax dollars support the longest-lasting and the last military occupation in modern history they won’t stand for it and will demand that Congress change our foreign policy in the Middle East to one that is more balanced and just for everyone living in the Holy Land.

STATE FAIR PROTEST: Gaza is still starving! Demand that MN divests from genocide NOW! 🇵🇸

Gaza may have disappeared from the news, but the genocide continues! Over 1,200 Gazans have been killed since the so-called “ceasefire.”

While families enjoy the privileged and comfort of the big MN get-together of the year, millions of Palestinians are still living in refugee camps, in military detention, and in an open-air prison where they’re suffering from grueling lack of medical care, mass disease, a poisoned water supply, a devastated economy, and the continued slaughter of civilians.

MN, WAKE UP ‼️‼️

With the upcoming elections, we need to make sure our elected officials and the public hear our message loud and clear: MN must divest from genocide NOW!

Join us to tell city council: get Skydio’s surveillance drones out of St. Paul! ✊🏻

We won in Minneapolis. Now it’s time for St. Paul to follow suit and vote against Skydio surveillance drones in our city. Skydio supplies drones to the Israeli military and ICE, and the drones have been used by US law enforcement to spy on protestors across the country‼️

St. Paul has kept their Skydio contract hidden from their constituents. The Free Palestine Coalition has just sent out a freedom of Information Act request to gain info about the contract. Join us to demand St. Paul is transparent with their constituents AND cuts the contract with Skydio! 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

Do you want ICE and the IDF’s surveillance drones in St. Paul? 👀

Thanks to our diligent organizing, Minneapolis recently voted against a contract with Skydio, ICE and Israel’s drone supplier. But St. Paul is lagging behind in the anti-genocide fight ‼️

Since 2023, St. Paul has had a contract with Skydio, and in 2025, the city voted to expand the contract WITHOUT a public hearing! The details of the contract are entirely hidden from the public. But constituents deserve to know how their city invests in genocide drones!

Thats why the Free Palestine Coalition has made “Skydio Out of St. Paul” our next fight 🔥🔥

We’ve filed a Freedom of Information Act Request to get details on the contract. Now, we need YOU to take action and make city council know where the public stands!

BDS VICTORY: Minneapolis voted against Skydio IDF drones! 💪🏼

Minneapolis has set a historic precedent once again! 🔥 After weeks of diligent organizing by the Free Palestine Coalition and Minneapolis residents, six brave city council members voted against a contract with Skydio—a company which provides surveillance drones to both ICE and the Israeli military ‼️

THE PEOPLE UNITED CANNOT BE DEFEATED ✊🏻🇵🇸

This win is another testament to the strength of the Minneapolis community’s mobilization. Once again, after our historic ceasefire resolution—the first in the country to call for an end to US aid to Israel, AND after our uprising to Operation Metro Surge—we have proven that Minneapolis knows how to resist and how to champion human rights 📣📣

Skydio have been used by law enforcement to spy on activists, No Kings demonstrators, and Palestinians in Gaza ❌

In the aftermath of Metro Surge, we say NO to surveillance tools in the hands of Law Enforcement 💪🏼

“At the July 8 committee hearing, police representatives explicitly stated that Skydio drones could be deployed to track ‘suspicious persons.’ This ambiguous, subjective language on its own leaves dangerous room for political weaponization. Who is a suspicious person? Is it a disabled, masked black man like Elijah McClain, who was killed in Colorado in 2020 because his mask seemed suspicious?”

SHOW UP: City Council will take a FINAL VOTE on IDF drones in MPLS 📣📣

On July 16th, Minneapolis city council will take a final vote on a contract to deploy Skydio surveillance drones as “first responders to crime” in Minneapolis—the same drones which were used in Israel’s genocide of Gaza ‼️‼️

On Thursday, July 8th, city council heard nearly 50 TESTIMONIES from community members who packed the room to say no to Skydio. Now, we have to make sure city council listens to their people! 👂

TAKE ACTION:

🪧 Protest before the vote (7/15 at 5:30 PM at the Federal Building)

✊🏻 Pack the room for the final vote (7/16 at 9:30 AM at MPLS city hall room 380)
