WLSA is an open forum dedicated to addressing not only the role of women in the law, but also the effect of legal doctrines and practice on issues integral to women. WLSA places a high priority on helping students connect with practicing lawyers, judges and professors to help them become part of the local legal community. In addition to sponsoring many speaking events, working with Minnesota Women

Lawyers (MWL) and running the Law School's used bookroom, WLSA manages a mentorship program and organizes various community service events. Each year we host a variety of great activities and speakers/panels, including a Professor Luncheon, Lunch Speakers, great networking events, and a Judicial Luncheon

Any and all students are welcome!

Hello WLSA! Minnesota Women Lawyers is collecting data on the experiences of women attorneys lawyering during the Pandemic. MWL seeks responses from women who practice and/or reside in Minnesota - including law students! We invite you to all to take the survey before it closes on March 7.

The survey takes between 15-20 minutes to complete (though not all questions apply to law students, so we anticipate it will take less time for WLSA members). Survey linked here:

The University of Minnesota Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild created these great Know Your Rights graphics for students to share election rights information with their communities back home. The graphics include information in both English and Spanish for the following states: Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Michigan, Iowa and Wisconsin. We encourage you to review your own voting rights ahead of this Tuesday's election, and share these graphics with your communities.

Thanks to National Lawyers Guild- UMN Chapter for sharing!!
