We are incredibly honored to welcome Kathy St. Jean, the President of the UCWDC, to the European Open Championships 2026 at Wunderland Kalkar! 🏆🤠
Kathy is a dedicated leader within the dance community, with decades of experience in both Country and Ballroom dance. She is a Masters Level Certified Judge, an Official Judge Examiner, and a driving force helping shape the future of competitive dancing.
Together with her husband Randy Deats, they co-own a successful dance studio in Rhode Island and are the Event Directors of the New England Dance Festival held in Massachusetts.
Randy will also be joining us this year, bringing his expertise and energy as one of the best MCs in the business! 🎤✨
Having Kathy with us in Europe, in her role as UCWDC President, is a true privilege and a moment you won’t want to miss! ❤️

While you may see him running around all weekend making sure everything goes according to plan, there's much more to Shaun than event logistics!
