Behind every improvement at Hester's Bottoms Campground is an incredible group of people who are willing to jump in and help when they're needed most. We have a lot going on around the park, and I want to take a moment to recognize some of the people who make it all happen.

First, a huge thank you to Darren Bosler and Ron Bosler for coming to our rescue a few weeks ago when a water main burst. It happened on a Saturday evening and resulted in an entire loop being shut down. They didn't hesitate to jump in and help, and we are incredibly grateful for their quick response.

A special thank you also goes to Kevin Powers with Advanced Terrain for coming on short notice to repair several campsites that were damaged during a recent storm.

Thank you to Matt Gambrell with 4G’s Landworx for putting in long hours to clean up the old day-use area. We are hopeful that this space will be safely restored and reopened for everyone to enjoy very soon.

A big shoutout to Andrew Hyman with Cutting It Close, who recently partnered with BHC to rejuvenate our activity park with fresh mulch and get it ready for the exciting events we have planned.

Thank you to Michael Alexander with Palmetto Plumbing for dropping everything yesterday to assist with another water leak. Knowing we can count on you gives us tremendous peace of mind.

And finally, a heartfelt thank you to Tammy and Lee Craddock. You have been involved in so many of these projects and continually go above and beyond. Your dedication to this campground does not go unnoticed.

Managing a campground isn't always glamorous. None of what we're accomplishing would be possible without the support of so many hardworking local businesses, friends, and volunteers who care about this place as much as we do.
