Capitol Reef gets half the visitors of Bryce or Zion : and it's 90 minutes from our Basecamp. Apple orchards. Petroglyphs from the road. Trails you can usually have to yourself.

It is easily the most underrated of Utah’s Mighty 5. While the crowds are busy lining up for shuttles at the other parks, you can wander through the pioneer-era Fruita orchards. If you’re there in season, you can even pick your own fruit.

For a quick stretch, the hike to Hickman Bridge is only 1.8 miles. And if you’re not feeling a hike at all, the ancient petroglyphs are visible right from Highway 24.

Our Southern Utah Basecamp Package at Sevier River RV Park puts you right in the middle of the action. You’re about 90 minutes from Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion. We handle the delivery and setup, so your only job is showing up.

The most common question we get about the Basecamp Package: "What's actually included?"

Short version: more than you'd think, less than a hotel concierge.

For $1,200, you get a 4-night stay in our Pine, Blue Spruce, or Alpine bunkhouse ($250 for each additional night). We handle the delivery, full setup, and breakdown at Sevier River RV Park in Marysvale. Your campsite fee is already covered in the price.

Inside, you’ll find:
- Fresh linens and a full kitchen set
- A s’mores package for the firepit
- Local itinerary guidance for Bryce, Zion, and Capitol Reef

You just bring the groceries and your park entry pass. We'll handle the rest. Pets always stay for free, because a family trip isn't the same without the dog.

After every rental, before the next one. Tires get checked. Bearings get inspected. Lights get tested. It's not glamorous : it's what keeps trips from going sideways.

We don't wait for things to break. Tires more than four years old get replaced by the calendar, regardless of how the tread looks. Bearings are inspected and repacked every single year.

Drew personally walks through every trailer before it leaves our yard. As a firefighter, checking equipment before it heads out isn't just a business standard: it's what he does for a living.

We started Lone Pine because owning an RV that sits in the driveway 50 weekends a year never made sense to us. We wanted to make it easy for other families to get out there too.

After four years, our mission is still the same: making the Utah outdoors accessible without the headache of storage or maintenance. We are family-owned by Drew, Jessica, and Dianne. We’re based in Nephi (Juab County, not Utah County) and we keep things simple.

Family-first means the whole family. Dogs stay free in every rental.

Most people spend their whole trip packing and unpacking as they move from park to park. We think there’s a better way.

Our Southern Utah Basecamp Package at Sevier River RV Park puts you right in the middle of the "Mighty 5." You get a home base that’s roughly 90 minutes from the best views in the state.

Here is the reality on the ground:
- Bryce Canyon: 90 min via Hwy 89.
- Zion East Entrance: 90 min via UT-9 (and much less crowded than the main entrance).
- Capitol Reef: 90 min via UT-24.

Just a heads up: Arches is not a day trip from Marysvale (it's 4+ hours each way). But with three national parks practically in your backyard, you won’t run out of dirt to explore.

Most people drive past Big Rock Candy Mountain on their way to Bryce. They're missing one of the wildest geology stops in Utah.

Just north of Marysvale on US-89, you’ll find this bright yellow and pink mineralized hillside. No filter: that’s the actual color of the rock.

Named after the 1928 folk song, it’s a quick 5-minute photo stop that most travelers blink and miss. It’s also right near Sevier River RV Park, the destination for our Southern Utah Basecamp package.

Memorial Day weekend starts Friday. If your family's plans aren't locked in yet, here's a question worth asking: do you want to be the one cooking hot dogs in the backyard, or the one watching the sunset from a campsite?

The weekend runs from Friday, May 22nd through Monday, May 25th, and we actually have one trailer still available for a last-minute escape.

You can grab it yourself from our Nephi yard, or we can handle the heavy lifting and deliver it directly to Sevier River RV Park as part of our Southern Utah Basecamp package. That means zero towing and zero setup for you. Plus, your four-legged family members always stay for free.

There is still time to trade the suburb sounds for the quiet of the pines. 🌲
