He arranged for my first event to take place at the Museum of Modern Art for their annual trustee's dinner--a western theme. Subsequently, I was in charge of the flowers and parties for New York's only five-st

ar hotel at the time, the legendary Carlyle Hotel. In 1992 Rusty Thomas Event Designs was awarded all 18 official events for the 1992 Democratic National Convention, including Grand Central Station and Madison Square Garden.
