Born in New Orleans of French heritage, Jeanine “Dr. Jazz” Normand grew up in her famous father’s orchestra, the Jack Normand Orchestra, at the international Grand Hotel Resort, now the Marriott Grand Autograph Collection, Point Clear, AL.
