Growing up and living in New Orleans, the gulf coast of Florida has been our escape to paradise. In 2008, my husband and son talked about purchasing a vacation property and pursuing the short term rental market. Yes, I have to admit... I thought they had lost their minds since we had no background in the vacation rental business. Our only experience in this market w

as as a guest/renter with both good and bad experiences. After countless conversations and research we made the decision to head off to the beach to find our vacation home. With all the family in tow (including the grandchildren), we made many trips and looked at lots of properties. We purchased our first vacation property at the Majestic Sun in 2008. My husband (Mike), our son (Darren) and I did a total renovation of the condo. We spent many hours of painting, pulling up carpets, building cabinets along with countless trips to the local hardware stores. As the months went by filled with construction and sore muscles, the end result was the perfect beach home for our family and yours. Time flies... it has been 9+ years since this adventure began and we have purchased 3 additional properties. As always, the properties required a complete renovation to meet the standards and brand that our guests have come to expect. Through the years we have had the pleasure of renting our vacation properties to wonderful families. We have built a genuine reputation for “value and attentive personal service.” For me, it has been the most rewarding experience and I just love the interaction with all of our families. Everyone starts off as a "guest" but before you know it we have become "friends". It has been very gratifying that many families choose to return year after year and refer our condo to their friends and family. We pride ourselves on our personal service and we feel that once you stay at one of our properties, you will be back! My motto is to always keep in mind as an owner, how I would like to be treated if I were a guest at a vacation rental. I believe the vacation rental experience is substantially more personal than staying in a cookie cutter hotel and I want you to feel confident about renting one of our properties. After all these years... we finally meet! ❤️🏖️

One of the best parts of owning a family vacation rental business is welcoming guests back year after year. The only downside? We don't always get the chance to meet the wonderful people we've been talking to for so long.

This week, that finally changed! I had the pleasure of meeting the Byrge family from Tennessee, who have been vacationing with us for years.

It felt like meeting old friends for the very first time! 😊 They are every bit as kind and gracious as we imagined, and it was such a joy to finally put faces with the names.

They've often told us that our condos are their "home at the beach," and hearing that never gets old. There is no greater compliment than knowing families choose to make memories with us year after year.
