New York City’s first dedicated Hawaiian musubi shop has landed on the Upper West Side. kinemusubi opened October 16 at 128 W. 72nd St.

Husband-and-wife duo Chi Ian Chan and Lizzy Han started with a sale in a neighborhood Facebook group, then built a following through Sunday pop-ups at Sushi Nonaka. Now, they have a place of their own.

On the menu: jasmine rice, house-made teriyaki sauce, and crispy nori, with options ranging from classic Hawaiian Spam to vegan musubi and the Ebi Opae, made with crispy shrimp katsu and teriyaki mayo.

A grand evening of elegance as One Bryant Park ONE BRYANT PARK celebrated its opening in Midtown, with some familiar faces from Hall PR in attendance for the occasion!

Now open, One Bryant Park brings together three distinct expressions of Japanese cuisine under one roof, from contemporary kaiseki to Edomae sushi at KUMIKO ROOM by Yoshi Kousaka with Kappo Sono joining the lineup this November.

An exciting new chapter for Japanese dining in NYC, and a beautiful evening to celebrate its arrival.

We’re excited to welcome to the Hall PR family!

Opened this month on the Upper East Side, Iki Sekai brings a polished and intimate take on omakase to the neighborhood. Led by Chef Gary Ke (formerly of Kinjo in DUMBO) and Chef Po Shing Ng (formerly of Ito in Tribeca), Iki Sekai translating to “refined world” offers a seasonally driven 14-course experience. Beyond the food, what sets Iki Sekai apart is the energy behind the counter. Chefs Gary and Po bring an incredibly warm, charming presence to the experience, making every meal feel very personal and friendly.

Current spring highlights include Aburi Toro from Spain with four-year aged shoyu and Shima Aji from Nagasaki with chimichurri.

With seatings nightly from 5PM–10:30PM, Iki Sekai is set to make its mark on the Upper East Side dining scene, and we’re thrilled to be working together! 🍣

Situated on the corner of 28th and Sixth, from Chef Cody Mao and Samuel Park is a reflection of everything they love most about New York dining culture, layered with influences from their Chinese and Korean backgrounds.

The contemporary Asian restaurant blends fine dining precision with the warmth of jeong, a deep sense of communal hospitality rooted in Korean culture. Dishes like Hokkaido scallop wellington, razor clams with black vinegar and lemon, and fried chicken wings stuffed with Chinese rose w**e sausage and freshly milled Korean rice showcase the pair’s playful yet thoughtful approach to food.

They have created a space that feels intimate, transportive, and unmistakably New York. We’re proud to be working with these two rising stars 💫
