YOUR IDEAS COULD BE OUR NEXT GREAT SESSION!

We're putting together the program for the 2027 NCURA Region IV Spring Meeting in Cincinnati, and we're still looking for some fabulous ideas!

We're especially hoping to hear from research administrators with experiences to share in:
• AI, Systems & Data Analytics
• Clinical Research & Industry Partnerships
• Federal Regulations & Compliance

Have you navigated a challenge, improved a process, discovered a creative solution, or learned something that could benefit your colleagues? We'd love to hear about it!
You don't have to be an expert or a seasoned presenter. Sometimes the best sessions come from real experiences and conversations about the challenges we face every day!

All research administration topics are welcome, and first-time presenters are encouraged to submit!

Federal requirements, sponsor expectations, and compliance responsibilities are constantly evolving. And research administrators are right in the middle of navigating it all!

Have experience with federal agencies like NIH, NSF, DOE, USDA, or DoD? Maybe you've tackled a compliance challenge, navigated changing regulations, improved a process, or developed strategies that others could learn from.

Maybe this is your year!

You don't need years of presenting experience or a perfectly polished idea to have something valuable to share. Maybe you've solved a problem, improved a process, learned something the hard way, or have a topic you know would get other research administrators talking.

You don't have to do it alone! Grab a colleague and submit together, or let us know on the proposal form if you'd like help finding a co-presenter.

Every experienced presenter had a first session. We'd love for yours to be in Cincinnati!

Have a topic you’d love to explore beyond a traditional conference session? Take it deeper in Cincinnati!

We’re looking for presenters interested in leading engaging Half Day or Full Day Workshops at the 2027 NCURA Region IV Spring Meeting.

Workshops give you the time to really dig into a topic, get attendees involved, and create an experience they can learn from and take back to their institutions.

Gather your team and bring your expertise together! Workshops are typically led by 3 to 4 presenters, creating an opportunity to combine different experiences and perspectives into one engaging session.

Think about your everyday work in research administration. What process have you improved? What challenge did you work through? What do colleagues come to you for help with? What have you learned that could make someone else’s job a little easier?

That could be a session. You don’t need to have all the answers. Bring your experience, your lessons learned, or even a topic that could spark a great conversation.
