Registration is now open for the IA-NE Research Development Meetup!

Join us August 4-5 in Ames, Iowa to build connections across the region, share best practices, and identify opportunities for future collaboration.

The meetup is open to anyone who does research development at any college or university in Iowa or Nebraska – or in a nearby state if you’re interested in collaborating with our region. We’ll have lots of structured and unstructured ways to connect with colleagues from diverse institutions. Brainstorm about how to tackle common challenges, spotlight your successful tools and initiatives, and just chat over a meal.

Agenda
Tuesday, August 4
• Noon-1 pm – Opening lunch
• 1-4:30 pm – Facilitated discussions and lightning talks
• 6-8 pm – Networking dinners in Ames (optional)
Wednesday, August 5
• 8:30-noon – Facilitated discussions and lightning talks
• Noon-1 pm – Closing lunch
• 1-3 pm – I-RAISE End of Summer Symposium (optional)
o Immediately following the meetup, students from the I-RAISE (Iowa Research Administration Internship Student Experience) program will present about their summer internship projects.
Location

The meetup will be held in 1302 ATRB (Advanced Teaching and Research Building) on the campus of Iowa State University (2213 Pammel Dr., Ames, IA 50011).
