The Sons of Italy in America is the country's largest and oldest Italian and fraternal organization. We share a proud heritage, and working together, a proud future. We encourage you, your family and friends to join us in this endeavor. The purpose of the order is to promote charitable endeavors to keep alive the traditions of their ancestors and disseminate Italian Culture in the United States. T

he order promotes moral, intellectual and maternal well being of our membership and encourages active participation in the political, social and civil life in our communities. I'm so saddened the matriarch of out lodge for so many years has passed. Miss you Louisa Voula. Saint Joseph's Day Hasn't been the same since our lodge desolved.

Today is another day of mourning of another dear friend as I anounce the passing of our sister Louise Vuola as God has called you home. You and Richie are shining stars having been married for 68 years. You and Richie brought my love to everyones life. It was a honor serving with you on the board of OSIA, Frank Sinatra Lodge 2621 leading up to my Presidency for two consecutive terms. Rest in peace dear friend. The joy of even this last Christmas depicted here as to your now in Gods loving arms. Richie, I love you kind sir.

As many of you know, as past members of OSIA Frank Sinatra Lodge 2621 and Formerly the Filippo Mezzei, Old Bridge, New Jersey has been decommissioned by the NJ State Lodge in the year 2015.

We were at one time more than 125 members strong, most of us former New Yorkers. Sadly through the years membership declined due to death, disinterest and members moving out of state.

I still cherish my Italian Identity and culture wishing you all well and hope we will somehow still keep in touch.
