Here are 7 things to LOVE about Hunkerdown Hollow:
1. The Campsite: Like the idea of sleeping in the outdoors? This site is outfitted with a tent, queen size bed, kitchen station, fire pit, wash station, outdoor shower,a composting toilet, and so much more. Walk down the hill for about 30 seconds and you come out at the gorgeous, pristine shores of .
2. The Barnyard: Located a little further into the property, this is for those who need a bit more modern convenience. A camper located in the heart of the farm where you will surely be greeted by the cutest little dwarf and feisty chickens.
3. The Island: the most luxurious location, The Lighthouse, is in the main channel on a tiny island connected to the property by a beautiful land bridge. AC, fresh and clean interior and 3 floors with lots of space!
4. Produce! The farmers market is just down the road where you can get farm fresh produce and even pick up some home made jams, butters and pickles. Grab some great Southern BBQ from you won’t regret it!! Or get a souvenir from . Grass fed beef? Head over to for some amazing and reasonably priced beef! Take some home!
5. Trey will always have great suggestions for things to do! Like . You can literally catch your own dinner which they will cook for you OR you can take your fresh fish home!
6. Outdoor Cooking! Our absolute favorite activity and the main reason we go Glamping. Wood fire cooking is the best thing because you can get flavors you can’t achieve via conventional cooking methods.
7. Sunsets! Josh and I celebrated 7 years of love during this trip and we could not have asked for anything better.
