☀️ Rae & Rain Comfort Services saving the day again!

One of the realities of managing short term rentals is that things don’t always wait for a convenient time to go wrong.

We had an AC issue come up at one of our properties while it was occupied, and with guests already in the home, getting it addressed quickly was a priority.

Rook with Rae & Rain Comfort Services made himself available on short notice, came out to the property, and got the system serviced so our guests could get back to enjoying their stay.

Moments like this are exactly why having trusted local partners matters so much to us.

At Aurelian Property Services, our commitment doesn’t stop once a property is cleaned and the guests check in. We want every guest to have an enjoyable, comfortable, and relaxing experience from arrival to departure. 🏡 How We Help Protect the Properties We Manage

There is a lot more to managing a short term rental than cleaning the house and making sure it is ready for the next guest.

One of the tools we use at Aurelian is the Minut monitoring system. It gives us another way to keep an eye on what is happening at a property without invading a guest’s privacy.

There are no cameras and Minut does not record conversations.

What it does allow us to monitor are things like noise levels, occupancy activity, temperature, humidity, and smoke alarms.

For example, if noise levels stay unusually high, we can get an alert and reach out to the guest before it turns into a complaint from a neighbor. If the temperature inside starts climbing unexpectedly, we can investigate a possible HVAC issue before a guest comes home to a hot house. It can also help us identify unusual occupancy activity that could indicate more people are at the property than the reservation allows.

It is especially useful for the properties we manage in areas with strict short term rental rules surrounding noise and occupancy.

For us, Minut is not about watching guests. It is about being proactive.

We would much rather address a potential issue early than have an owner find out about it after a neighbor complains, something gets damaged, or a guest has already had a bad experience.

Technology like this does not replace having someone local who knows the property and can respond when something happens. It just gives us better information so we can do our job more effectively.

That is a big part of how we approach property management at Aurelian. Protect the home, respect the guests, be a good neighbor, and stay ahead of problems whenever we can. 🏡
