Dear camping families;
I’d like to introduce ourselves. We’re Tuckaway Campground situated in the iconic Baraboo Bluff Range. A part of the Glacier range. A family-founded, owned and operated campground established 1960. We’re very excited to be in business for 66 seasons; welcoming campers of all ages from across the Midwest.
If you’re looking for a place where kids can just be kids (and parents can actually relax), you’ve found the perfect place.
We offer:
🚋 Seasonal sites to become a part of our large camping family.
🌲 Primitive tent sites next to the pond, surrounded woods and enclosed by bluffs.
🔥 Group camping with electricity and a large fire pit.
🎣 A private 6 acre pond for catch and release, no-licence fishing.
👙 Swimming with marked child area. Life jackets available for use of all sizes at any time.
☀️ Two beaches. One for pet access, other for cocktails and tanning.
🚣♂️ Paddle board, paddle boat and kayak rentals.
📥 Office with pool table, malt beverage sales and deck use where Wifi is available for those who can’t unplug.
🚿 Bathhouse with flush toilets and free showers.
🐶 Pet and children friendly.
🐴 Friendly and fluffy farm animals.
🥾Hiking trails on the Great Stage Coach trail, even ancient caves.
🛻 Enjoy miles of off-property ATV/UTV riding to local dive bars (Ugly Coyote Saloon, The Shop bar and grill, The Schelter bar and grill and Junior’s Tavern) with true down home food and atmosphere.
⏱️ Minutes from Devils Lake State Park with rock climbing and miles of hiking trails.
🛝 Playground to burn off excess energy and back roads for safe walking/jogging.
🍳 Social pavilion with open cooking area to build new friendships.
