Treats galore and no tricks for our first time family staying at Gone Coastal - Your home away from home by the sea this long weekend! Matt and Stephanie couldn’t have booked a better fall family beach trip than this one! Bearfoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach and Bouy’s on the Boulevard are offering free events as visitors start to feel a crispness in the air as they take in all or some of these happenings, as they stroll, snap pictures and take in the fall vibes the salt life is bringing forth! They may choose to turn up the heat a bit or climb into bed under a cozy blanket once back at the house. Their daytime temperatures look outstanding for this late October weekend! Enjoy your family time and I hope your children will have the best ever Halloween memories for 2025. 🌊🌴😎🎃❤️

Following the recent enactment of the code of laws of South Carolina concerning golf carts, the City Council in North Myrtle Beach on Monday, June 23rd, approved an amendment to the city’s code of ordinances regarding the regulated use of golf carts within its city limits.

These measures are in place to promote safety for the golf cart operators and motorist.

Under the new South Carolina ordinance:
1. Golf carts may only be operated on secondary roads within the city with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less.
2. Golf carts may only be operated between the hours of sunrise and sunset.
3. Golf carts may cross a highway or street at an intersection where the highway has a posted speed limit of more than 35 mph.
4. Children under the age of 12 must be in the use of a seatbelt when riding on a golf cart on a public road.

Our golf cart has an appointment to have front seat and back seat seatbelts installed on August 5th.

Failure to comply with these ordinances brings forth a penalty. Violators may be subject to a $100.00 fine and/or up to 30 days incarceration.
