APRIL 6, 2025 • RED FLAG NOTICE

The National Weather Service has issued a 🟥 RED FLAG 🟥 beach forecast for Sunday, April 6, 2025.

As part of this forecast, life threatening rip currents are likely. During a RED FLAG, especially with such a HIGH RISK of rip currents, there is no “safe” water depth identified.

Additionally, the UV Index forecast is VERY HIGH, indicating a high risk of harm from unprotected ☀️ sun exposure. Remember to seek shade, cover up, wear a hat and sunglasses, and use sunscreen.

The beach areas are still open and safe to enjoy, but ocean swimming and in-water activity should NOT take place, and protective UV precautions should be used.
