Game of Drones hosted the first Aerial Action Sports League (AASL) Event of 2015 at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in Oakland, CA.

250 Racing and GoD Combat were the 2 events of the day. Lots of people, around 18 pilots, participated in the 250 racing. Lots of fun!

MultirotorSuperStore.com was also there to support the growing race community.

Many of the popular 250mm size Quads were participating in the races.

BayFly invited a bunch of people to attend races at their first event of 2015. Had a chance to put the Knife 270 Red Edition up against QAV250, Spanky's Blackouts, TBS Gemini, and a few others. Fun day at the races.

The Hiller Aviation Museum put on this Mini Airshow. The San Carlos Airport was closed to regular air traffic for an hour to allow realistic jet- and propeller-powered model aircraft to roll down the runway and into the sky. This unique aerial extravaganza included aerobatic helicopters, computer controlled multirotors, high performance model rockets and more.

This was a fully sponsored AMA/FAA event, and was fun for all. It was a rare opportunity for me to get some awesome aerial footage at an active Air Field.

The New Scarab Knife 270 - Red Edition, is a great sized QUAD to race in the 250mm Multirotor Racing events. Lots of power + great maneuverability, makes this QUAD versatile. If you don't FPV race, the Knife is also a great platform for a backpack Video Platform. Check it out!

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to stay in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, More specifically, Bass Lake near Yosemite. I had the opportunity to take a few flights at the PINES RESORT where we were staying. I also had a single chance to take shots in the Yosemite Valley before they closed off Aerial Photos to the public. Enjoy
